Meet us at the Free Spirit Tours base on the Beaver River and we will greet you there to get you equipped for your paddle. There will be a short shuttle ride to your chosen access point, and you’ll paddle back downstream to the Free Spirit Tours base. You'll have the opportunity to see egrets, herons, cormorants, muskrat, turtles and so much more.

Experience a unique side of Wasaga Beach on this 2.5-hour paddle along the beautiful Nottawasaga River. Beginning at the Wasaga Sports Park and ending at Schooner Town, this scenic route winds through a variety of river environments, including a few faster-moving sections that add a touch of excitement to the journey. Along the way, you'll paddle past the iconic sand dunes that have helped shaped the history and landscape of the world's longest freshwater beach.
Meet us in the Wasaga Sports Park and we will greet you there to get you going on your paddle. There will be a short shuttle to back to your vehicle after your finish your trip.

PADDLING PROTOCOLS
- Please follow a “leave no trace” policy. If you pack it in, pack it out (this applies to trash as well and especially cigarette butts).
- Take only pictures and leave only footprints. Please do not disturb vegetation or wildlife.
- Life jackets are to be worn.
- Alcohol and cannabis are not permitted (it’s the law!).
- Please only open your marine safety kit in an emergency situation.
- Beaver River: please bring your boats and equipment from the river back up to the yard (you must remove any personal items or trash).
- Nottawasaga River: A guide from Free Spirit Tours will help you with your boat (you must remove any personal items or trash).
