Free Spirit Tours base - Heathcote
- $40/person - for 1 hour paddle
- $50/person - for 2 hour paddle
- $70/person - for 5 hour paddle
- Includes all your equipment (kayak, sup or canoe / PFD / paddle / safety kit)
Meet us at the Free Spirit Tours base on the Beaver River and we will greet you there to get you equipped for your paddle. There will be a short shuttle ride to your chosen access point, and you’ll paddle back downstream to the Free Spirit Tours base. You'll have the opportunity to see egrets, herons, cormorants, muskrat, turtles and so much more.

Wasaga Sports Park - Jack's Lake
- $50/person - for 2 hour paddle
- Includes all your equipment (kayak, sup or canoe / PFD / paddle / safety kit)
Meet us in the Wasaga Sports Park and we will greet you there to get you going on your paddle into spectacular Jack's Lake. You put in and take out at the same spot, paddling up river and back. The paddle goes through beautiful wilderness and you'll have the opportunity to see bald eagles, trumpeter swans, osprey, beavers, turtles and so much more.

Level of experience
Beginners to Experienced – Both rivers are great for beginner paddlers. You'll be shown some paddle strokes to help you maneuver your boat.
What to bring
Water to drink (in a day pack so it’s easy to carry), a water resistant camera and sunscreen
What's included
Boat, paddle, life jacket, safety kit, brief instruction
What to wear
Sun hat, bathing suit, clothes you don't mind getting wet, water shoes or sandals

- Includes unlimited 2 hour trips on the Beaver River or Nottawasaga River

PADDLING PROTOCOLS
- Please follow a “leave no trace” policy. If you pack it in, pack it out (this applies to trash as well and especially cigarette butts).
- Take only pictures and leave only footprints. Please do not disturb vegetation or wildlife.
- Life jackets are to be worn.
- Alcohol and cannabis are not permitted (it’s the law!).
- Please only open your marine safety kit in an emergency situation.
- Beaver River: please bring your boats and equipment from the river back up to the yard (you must remove any personal items or trash).
- Nottawasaga River: A guide from Free Spirit Tours will help you with your boat (you must remove any personal items or trash).
