We spent the August long weekend up in the Kimberley area with family and we were looking for things to do to fill our day. We found Free Spirit Tours and thought we’d try them out. It was great!! The price was reasonable, the staff were extremely friendly, the Beaver river was very easy to navigate. All in all, it was a great time! The staff was very welcoming and friendly. We did the 2-hour tour, and the river was calm. We really enjoyed the scenery. I would have liked more rapids or flow to make it more fun, but overall, we did like the experience. I recommend that they show you how to adjust your kayak for your feet to keep your balance better. The staff did not take the time to set up the equipment for any of us, most likely all beginners. We might come back for the 5 hours next time. We chose to do caving for the very first time and I was so amazed at how I was able to get into tiny parts of the cave with ease. The tour guide did a great job explaining everything from start to finish.
