A UNIQUE WINTER EXPERIENCE
Join us on this truly unique winter experience that combines both snowshoeing and caving. We will guide you on a snowshoe hike to the caves which is an adventure just on its own.
But then once at the caves we will take the snowshoes off and climb and crawl our way through.
Level of experience
Beginners to Experienced – Don’t worry if you’ve never snowshoed or caved before, we teach you everything you need to know!! This activity does require some physical ability but as mentioned before – total beginners are fine doing this! Great for families!
Availability
10:00am – 12:30pm or 1:00pm – 3:30pm
What to bring
Water to drink (in a day pack so it’s easy to carry)!
What to wear
Winter gear. Hats, gloves, boots & snow pants. You will get wet & dirty!
CAVING PROTOCOLS
At all times

Please follow a “leave no trace” policy. If you pack it in, pack it out (this applies to trash as well and especially cigarette butts).

Take only pictures and leave only footprints. Please do not disturb vegetation or wildlife.
On the hike

Watch your step. There are roots, rocks, and slippery spots.

Alcohol and cannabis are not permitted.
In the caves

Pay close attention to your guide's instructions.

Communicate well with your group members.
