EXPERIENCE A WINTER WONDERLAND
Experience the beauty of winter while snowshoeing through a winter wonderland. You’ll be guided on trails leading through beautiful woodlands with the opportunity to see some wildlife. Don’t worry if you haven’t snowshoed before – we provide full instruction and equipment.
Level of experience
Beginners to Experienced – Don’t worry if you’ve never snowshoed before, we teach you everything you need to know!! We can tailor our tour to fit what you’d like to do – just a nice easy saunter or something that gets the adrenaline going!
Availability
10:00 - 12:00 or 1:00 - 3:00pm. Tours run daily all winter except on Dec 25, Dec 26 and Jan 1st.
What to bring
Water to drink (in a day pack so it’s easy to carry) and a camera!
What to wear
Winter gear: hats, gloves, boots & snow pants.

I use their shuttle service driving my kayak, equipment and myself for $20 from access point #3 to #2. staff was knowledgable and very kind waiting for me to push out at the launch. thanksgiving weekend was the last weekend of the season, unfortunately but I will come back next year.

Went for a nice paddle down the Beaver River, and they even helped us pump up the tires of our car when we were low on air. Great spot, would recommend!

Easy to book, plus really friendly guides/owners. Beautiful river and we saw a beaver and some neat little birds 🦅 Looking forward to trying out some of their other adventures like caving

We spent the August long weekend up in the Kimberley area with family and we were looking for things to do to fill our day. We found Free Spirit Tours and thought we’d try them out. It was great!! The price was reasonable, the staff were extremely friendly, the Beaver river was very easy to navigate. All in all, it was a great time! Would definitely recommend the one hour tour for anyone regardless of age or ability. There are longer tours for more avid paddlers.
