FROZEN TRAILS & ENDLESS TALES

Our snowshoe club is a dynamic group of outdoor enthusiasts, who love to get out and explore our local trails.

With members ranging from beginner to seasoned snowshoer the club offers a welcoming environment for all skill levels.

We meet twice a week to snowshoe and switch up the location weekly. Snowshoes and guide for the hike are provided (unless you choose the BYO membership where you are required to bring your own snowshoes).

Experience

Beginners to Experienced – Don’t worry if you’ve never snowshoed before, we teach you everything you need to know!!

  • Wasaga Beach Provincial Park - Off Veterans - many different loops
  • Wasaga - by the Dunes

Availability

Tuesdays (10:00am - 12:00pm) and Thursdays (1:00pm - 3:00pm) between Dec 9, 2025 and Mar 12, 2026.

What to bring

Water to drink (in a day pack so it’s easy to carry) and a camera! If you choose the BYO membership, you are required to bring your own snowshoes.

What to wear

Winter gear: hats, gloves, boots & snow pants.

Meeting the group

We had a great time during this activity, the personnal was friendly. We took the 2 hours package, with kids 11 and 15 and a stop to eat lunch and swim it was a perfect duration of about 3 hours.

We did the two hour paddle and loved it! The river was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. There was lots of wildlife to look at - birds, turtles and a beaver! Prices were very affordable, we will return next time we are in the area. Remember to keep left on the rapids! Haha
